Opalite is the trade name for man(or woman!) made opalised glass. While not a true gemstone, the chatoyancy of the glass gives these opalite beads a depth similar to that of true moonstone or opal. They are semi-transparent with soft, delicate colors. These opalite beads also have a Champagne Luster finish, which adds to the depth and color-play of each stone!
Peach Freshwater Potato Pearl - Potato Pearls are roundish pearls with a slightly oblong shape and less-symmetrical curves, resembling more a potato than a sphere. They are a very affordable substitute for round pearls.
The inner glow (orient) of pearls is thought to tap inner wisdom and nurture love. Pearls are also believed to signify innocence and faith. With such an emphasis on balance and wisdom, it's no surprise that the pearl connects deeply with the third eye chakra. The third eye chakra is the gateway to our inner well of knowledge.
Freshwater pearls are not as strong as some gemstones increasing the risk of damage if you wear them every day. But if you take proper care of your pearl jewelry and store it properly you can wear your pearls as often as you like. Never clean your freshwater pearl jewelry in an ultrasonic or steam cleaner.
